 Main characteristics:
- Low coefficient of friction (static)
- Good thermal conductivity
- Wear resistance
- It has low effect in its electric characteristics
- It is almost not reactive to chemicals
- Good elasticity
Main applications:
In dynamic seals where auto-lubrication is important; it is generally combined with glass fiber or bronze (bearing pads, seal rings, piston rings) |
