Glass fiber
 Main characteristics:
- Improves resistance to wear and compression
- Improves PTFE resistance to friction in high and low temperatures
- Excellent chemical stability, except with strong alkalis and hydrofluoric acid
- Has better thermal conductivity and coefficient of friction when combined with molybdenum disulfide or with graphite
- Has excellent electrical properties
Main applications:
- It is the most usual filler for seals where there is rotation and alternation of movements (application for pneumatic and/or hydraulic use, bearing pads, piston rings, valve bearings and mechanical parts)
